The Hawaii State Fire Code is a must-have reference for every fire and rescue agency throughout Hawaii!
For the first time, the state of Hawaii has adopted NFPA 1 as the state fire code. The adoption of the code took effect at the beginning of this year.
The NFPA helped the Council by facilitating meetings of the Council’s Fire Prevention Committee where members reviewed the code and determined amendments based on enforcement authority and other state and county statutes.
This loose-leaf edition contains the current Hawaii Fire & Building Safety Code and integrates the NFPA 1 (Uniform Fire Code) with all the Hawaii changes and additions. No more flipping between the NFPA Code and the State of Hawaii amendments!
