AIA has released new versions of their documents. The A401 has been updated!
This A401 form is the Standard Form of Agreement Between Contractor and Subcontractor, and sets forth the responsibilities of both parties. Additionally, the form lists the respective obligations of each party, which are written to parallel to A201–2007, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, which A401–2007 incorporates by reference.
The A401–2007 form may be modified for use as an agreement between a subcontractor and a sub-subcontractor, and must be modified if used where A107–2007 or A105–2007 serves as the owner-contractor agreement.Please note that in order to preserve document authenticity, Construction Book Express does not offer downloadable AIA forms.
