AIA has released new versions of their documents. The A151 (formerly the A175) has been updated!
The AIA document A151–2007 is used as a contract between the Owner and the Vendor for Furniture, Furnishings and Equipment (FF&E), where the basis of payment is a stipulated sum (fixed price) that is typically agreed to when the contract is made.
A151–2007 adopts by reference and is intended for use with A251–2007, General Conditions of the Contract for Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment. It is usually used where the cost of FF&E has been determined in advance, either through bidding or negotiation. Please note that in order to preserve document authenticity, Construction Book Express does not offer downloadable AIA forms. Construction Book Express will ship original paper AIA documents only.
