This reference familiarizes building officials, fire officials, design professionals, contractors and others in the construction industry with important changes that took place between the 2000 International Fire Code and 2006 International Fire Code® (IFC®). It is a direct link and comparison of provisions between the 2000 and 2006 editions, without the need for the review of the 2003 edition. For those interested in further detail, the 2003 IFC® section number is provided as a reference. Chapters in the Analysis of Changes are organized following the order of chapters in the IFC® to make it easier to use in coordination with the code.
