This AIA A102-2007 is a standard form of agreement between owner and contractor that's appropriate for use on large projects requiring a negotiated guaranteed maximum price, when the basis of payment to the contractor is the cost of the work plus a fee.

A102–2007 is not intended for use in competitive bidding. A102–2007 adopts by reference and is intended for use with A201™–2007, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction.
