The Level III program tests you on all of the Level III Work Elements listed in NICET's Program Detail Manual. These are more advanced questions that will challenge your depth of knowledge and understanding of fire alarm systems.

The NICET Level 3 Fire Alarm Test Prep Software provides five questions for each Work Element that closely represent the type of questions that may be encountered on a NICET exam. (NOTE: While there is no doubt that a few of the questions may be similar, most are merely typical of the actual test questions.)

  • View a description of each Work Element available on the software
  • Scroll down to select an Element
  • The Test Summary window keeps track of your scores for each level.
  • Checking the “Enable Look-up Feature” box allows you to check your answers.
  • Elements passed or failed, percentage of correct answers, and time taken to complete each Element are recorded.
The NICET Fire Alarm Test Prep Software references the 2002 Edition of NFPA 72, the National Fire Alarm Code, as well as the 2002 edition of NEC, the National Electrical Code. This CD-ROM is a single-user license. It has been designed to be installed on a single (home) PC. Scores may be re-set and the tests re-run as many times as the owner wishes.
