The 2002 edition of NFPA 550 has been revised to better present the overall analytical methodology that describes the structure, application, and limitations of the NFPA Fire Safety Concepts Tree. The document is easier to follow and is intended to provide tools to help fire safety practitioners (e.g. designers, engineers, code officials) communicate fire safety and protection concepts.
