Maximize safety with these changes in the 2006 edition of the NFPA 1126.
NFPA 1126 - Standard for the Use of Pyrotechnics Before a Proximate Audience provides requirements for the protection of property, operators, performers, support personnel, and the viewing audiences where pyrotechnic effects are used indoors or outdoors with a proximate audience. Application of the Code includes use of such effects in conjunction with theatrical, musical, or similar performing arts productions.
The document has also been revised to improve consistency, usability, and readability. New definitions were added, some based on terms used in other NFPA fireworks and pyrotechnics documents. Additionally, revised provisions increase the number of portable fire extinguishers required for a performance. Approx. 18 pp.
