Construction Book Express and our suppliers are dedicated to providing quality products to our customers. We stand behind our commitment to quality with a satisfaction guarantee on every purchase*. If, for any reason, a customer is not satisfied with a product, they may return it within 30 days of the date purchased for a refund of the purchase price of the product(s). Returned merchandise must be in its original box, in new condition and include all instructions, and the invoice or packing slip.
*Exceptions: Videos/DVDs, audiotapes and software products (once opened), forms, documents, reports and downloads are not returnable.
CONSTRUCTION BOOK EXPRESS warrants to its customers that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
If a fault develops during the warranty period, CONSTRUCTION BOOK EXPRESS, at its option, will either repair the defective product without charge for the parts and labor, or will provide a replacement in exchange for the defective product returned to CONSTRUCTION BOOK EXPRESS. Shipping charges to return replacement or repaired unit back to customer are not covered by warranty and are the responsibility of the customer.
This warranty shall not apply to any defect, failure or damage caused by improper use or improper or inadequate maintenance and care, including battery corrosion and resulting damage.
All expendable items, such as electrochemical sensors on gas detectors are warranteed for a period of six months. Sensor pads or contact pins on moisture meters and batteries on all units are not covered under warranty.
This Plan is inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty; it does not replace the manufacturer’s warranty.
In no event shall CONSTRUCTION BOOK EXPRESS, its agents or distributors be liable to the Customer for any special, indirect, or consequential loss or damage of any type whatsoever (including, without limitation, loss of business, revenue, profits, data, savings or good will), whether occasioned by the act, breach, omission, default, or negligence of CONSTRUCTION BOOK EXPRESS, whether or not foreseeable, arising howsoever out of breach of contract, tort, misrepresentation or arising from statute or indemnity.
Without prejudice to the above, all other warranties, representations and conditions whether made orally or implied by circumstances, custom, contract, equity, statute or common law are hereby excluded.
This warranty is not transferable between instruments and does not cover physical loss of covered instrument.
