1999 Chicago Fire Prevention Code

The new 2005 Edition of the Chicago Fire Safety Code should be available during the first quarter of next year. The Chicago Fire Prevention Code, 1999 Edition, is still the most recent update. The code includes a compilation of chapters from the Municipal Code of Chicago selected for inclusion by the Bureau of Fire Prevention. Enforcement of Regulations, Fire Protection Equipment, and Flammable Liquids are among the many chapters that make up the Chicago Fire Prevention Code regulations.

2004 Chicago Mechanical (HVAC) Code

The Chicago Mechanical Code, 2004 Edition, has been completely revised and contains chapters pertaining to heating, refrigeration, ventilation regulations and ventilation requirements for specific occupancies. Included are tables and ventilation requirements.

2008 Chicago Building Code

2005 Chicago Energy Conservation Code

The Chicago Energy Conservation Code contains residential and commercial building information that is intended to regulate the design of buildings and structures, in order to enable the effective use of energy. All plans submitted to the City of Chicago Building Department for permit on and after June 3, 2002, will require certification by a Chicago Registered Energy Professional, stating that the plans comply with the Chicago Energy Conservation Code.

2006 Chicago Plumbing Code

The Chicago Plumbing Code, 2006 Edition, contains revised regulations selected from the Municipal Code of Chicago that relate to plumbing, water supply, industrial waste and sewers. Includes tables and graphics, as well as sections from other pertinent chapters.
