This standard covers 4-in. through 12-in. (100 mm through 300 mm) polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pressure pipe and fabricated fittings with cast-iron-pipe-equivalent (CI) outside diameter (OD) dimensions and with wall-thickness-dimension ratios (DRs) 14, 18, and 25. The purpose of this standard is to provide direction and guidance for manufacturing, testing, selecting, and purchasing PVC pressure pipe and fabricated fittings for underground water distribution systems.
