1.1.1 The joint materials used in this standard are designed to be used with gypsum board that are installed in accordance with Specification C 840.
1.2 This specification also covers the minimum requirements for an all-purpose compound and joint tape and the assembly of taping.
1.3 The text of this specification references footnotes and notes that give explanatory material. These notes and footnotes (excluding those in tables and figures) shall not be considered as requirements of the specification.
