This document is used when competitive bids are to be solicited for construction of the project. The document is coordinated with A201™-1997 and its related documents, and instructs bidders on how to prepare and submit bids, including bonding. Supplementary conditions can be attached that provide specific instructions or special requirements, such as the amount and type of bonding.
